Open-room car (Nr. 84), originally built as a 1st-class (open-room, 56-seat) car (A9tj, DEV Inox-U64) in 1965 for top-tier, flagship mainline services of SNCF (with at-seat catering service).
Declassified and rebuilt to 2nd class as B10 1/2tj (84 seats) in the mid-1980s, for regional/express services.

Inside the coach shop at Haifa-Kishon, an ex-SNCF Inox coach is receiving some maintenance shortly after it arrived as part of a batch of several such coaches from France. Note the new air conditioner unit atop the roof of the coach.
