Unlike 1603, CFL trainset 211 actually came from the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg that celebrated 50 years of CFL. Two trainsets took all the way from Luxembourg to Marienbourg and are seen here arriving at Treignes, the other end of the CFV3V's museum line, on 26 September 2009. Ex-CFL Z105; A.B.F.C X4039; Ex-SNCF XRABD 8291 in Luxembourg-City 1.3.1995
Museum railcar Z105 was built in 1949 by DE DIETRICH / Niederbronn / France. Retired from active service in 1978, the "Groupement des Amis du Rail Luxembourg" bought this railcar and restored it from 1984-1992. It's the last DE DIETRICH railcar in active museum fleet in Europe. G.A.R. is also owner from the DECAUVILLE trailer RZ1011 (XRABD 8291), bought and restored in 1995. Photo(c) Michel Dondelinger |
