Station of NAPOLI CAMPI FLEGREI in the north-west suburb of the city of Naples, Italy - the partially reconstructed station building. On the place where 39 000 years ago strong vulcanic eruptions occured (the last large eruption occured in 1538!) was built the city of Naples and its part Campi Flegrei as well as this station. The ground is still active - if you go to Pozzuoli you can see fields with boiling ground, raising smoke and steam. Foto and scan: Slobodan Ilic, 17.03.2006 (slobodan.ilic@bluewin.ch)
