The station of IMPERIA PORTO MAURIZIO on the line: Genova Piazza Principe - Ventimiglia.
This station is very convenient: after getting off the train you will need not more than 5 minutes 
on foot to reach the port, the beach, your hotel or the historic part of the town.

This station will be closed in summer 2008; the spectacular seashore railway section between Andora and 
San Lorenzo will be closed and replaced by an awful new tunnel railway, very distant from the seashore
and residential and touristic areas. After that the works will be continued on building of a tunnel
railway on the last section between Finale Ligure and Andora. So the Ligurian West Coast 
(Riviera di Ponente) will loose completely its spectacular seashore railway.
