The end of the former rack line from Saline di Volterra to Volterra. 
<BR>The line was closed in 1957, but currently 
is a nice footpath that start in this point. Note the iron ties 
that were used to support the stress from rack.<BR>
This picture was taken in autumn 1972 and is of an historic value: 
It was the first railroad-related picture i shot a long time ago.<BR>
