FS ALe 880 118, formerly part of ETS 11, private train of Benito Mussolini, stored in Bologna Centrale engine terminal on May 10th, 1992.
<br>This electric railcar was built by FIAT in 1940, at once with a twin unit eventually lettered ALe 880 117, to form a permanently coupled two-unit train for the personal use of the fascist dictator. Formerly equipped with rationalist-style furnishings, in 1950 it was rebuilt from war damage with standard 3rd class wood seats and put into passenger service.
