FS Class E444R Electric Locomotive.
E444 032 waits to back down onto its train at Venice S. Lucia station on Monday afternoon September 17th, 2001 as a thunderstorm gathers over Mestre. My train to Treviso left shortly after these E444R photos were taken and we journeyed through heavy rains and lightening. At lunchtime the next day there was over a foot of water covering most of the Piazza S. Marco.
