The InterCity train: "RIVIERA DEI FIORI" on the route: Nice-Ville - Genova Piazza Principe -
Milano Centrale - Arth-Goldau - Luzern - Olten - Basel SBB, with the italian locomotive E444-045
and comfortable air-cionditioned Swiss carriages,  has just left the awful long tunnel
(approximately 40 km!!!) and is approaching Imperia Porto Maurizio.
With changing of the Timetable on December 11, 2005 this train has been canceled;
Basel and Luzern have lost their direct railway connection to Nice; the InterCity Train:
"Riviera dei Fiori" runs now from Milano Centrale to Nice-Ville and has only Italian InterCity PLUS carriages.
All EuroCity, InterCity and Eurostar Italia trains are since 11.12.2005 under an obligatory seat reservation.
Who gets on a train without seat reservation, will have to pay penance of EUR 25.00!!!
