Trenitalia - Italy On the direct Catania-Gela line trains now only run up to Caltagirone twice a day, with an extra train pair to Vizzini-Licodia. Today 2 Dutch tourists were the only passengers on the entire 2-hour trip from Catania to Caltagirone. It actually lasted 3.5 hours due to a malfunctioning railway crossing.
