Trenitalia Class MDVE Coach NVR 50 83 11-87 148-9 I-TI nA in old XMPR colors. This coach still has a NVR number of a First Class coach but it has been modified to Second Class. Peri Station along the Brenner Line. 02/08/2023.

I-TI 50 83 11-87 024-2 nA MDVE, interior. As you can see in other photos on railfaneurope, the first class MDVE coaches originally had 2+1 seating, though with the same limited legroom as in second class. Unfortunately when they were modernized, both first and second class received exactly the same interior, so it's not worth to pay for first class if you travel in regional trains in Italy. This coach is airconditioned, though half of the windows can still be opened. Rimini, 2015-09-06. |
