A FS class E444 stops at Ferrara with Ic547 "Palladio" from Venezia Santa Lucia to Roma Termini on a foggy morning in Autumn 1988.
<br>Note the thin red stripe at the bottom of the body on the cars: at that time FS didn't  have enough UIC-Z 2nd class coaches to equip all IC trains, so a lot of UIC-X coaches were fitted for 200 kph speed, with hydraulic absorbers between body and bogies and window baffles against aerodynamic turbulences inside the compartments, and marked with a red sripe on the lower part of the body.
