Budapest view of Lanchíd (Chain Bridge)
This is the tram tracks view of the Danube and the Lanchíd (chain bridge). On the Buda (west) side of the Lanchíd there is a Siklo (funicular) train up to the Palace and FishermanŐs Bastion. I did not cross the Lanchíd by foot until February 2006. It is a really nice walk across the bridge over the Danube. Taken Wednesday 3 January 2002 © 2002, 2006 Josh Hanz (josh_hanz@hotmail.com) |

That day it was +40 degrees celsius (+104 F). Taken Saturday 1 August 1998 © 1998, 2006 Josh Hanz (josh_hanz@hotmail.com) |

A lovely track junction outside the Zuglo tram depot. Too bad the half leading towards
the former 44 route is not in use.
