MÁV steam locomotives class 411 (war locomotive class S-160) and class
424. Pay special attention to the size difference! Class 411 was designed to
be able to operate under all European profiles.

American war locomotive S-160 in service as MÁV 411,118. This
locomotive was brought back into operating service especially for the
locomotive show.

After the second World War, Hungary bought approx. 500 locomotives from the USA (Hungarian class: 411). This is one of the remained units, out of service at Hatvan.

411.358 at Hegyeshalom.

American war locomotive S-160. It was built in large numbers during WWII and
shipped to Europe. MÁV purchased 520 of them in 1947, and used them
almost until the end of the steam era in 1986 as class 411. The 411,358 is not
operational, it is on display at the Austrian border station Hegyeshalom.
