2-6-2 steam locomotive 324.540, flanked by electric V43 2292 and diesel M41 2109, backs into Budapest Nyugati station with the historic coaches which will form train R22222 (09:40 Nyugati to Szob). The train ran on alternate Saturdays during the summer. Photographed on May 1st, 2004.

Compound 324 sorozatú hadimozdony. Ezek a mozdonyok és légűrfékkel is el voltak látva.
Compound MÁV 324 als Kriegslok im ersten Weltkrieg. Die K. u K. Kriegslokomotiven wurden auch mit Luftdruckbremse ausgestatt. Diese Dampflok ist fotografiert zwischen Focsani (RO) und Albedo ( I ).

Hungarian steam locomotive class MÁV 324,314. The original water
cleaner on top of the boiler has been removed in the 1950s.
Picture taken during the big locomotive show for the 150th anniversary of the Hungarian railways on 13-14 July 1996 in Budapest.

Hungary – The OBB operated a railcar service that passed through a corner of then
Communist-controlled Hungary, calling at Sopron on the way. Seen from that railcar
is MAV 2-6-2 324.1518 which had just arrived with at Sopron with passenger train from Gyor.
