A MÁV Széchenyi-hegyi Gyermekvasút új színterve kiemeli az Mk45 2003 pályaszám mozdonyt a gyönyörű, havas környezetben. A két, légfűtéses kocsi előtt egy, a nosztalgia gyorsmotorvonathoz tartozó kályhafűtéses szalonkocsi van bekapcsolva, amin épp óvodások születésnapi zsúrja zajlik. A mozdony másik oldalát Kovács Krisztián készül lefotózni. New design of the Children's Railway emphasises the engine in this beautyful snowy landscape. Diesel engine Mk45 2003 hauls two standard coaches (type Ba) with air heating, while the blue coach is the salon coach (Ax 12) of the nostalgia DMU. Some children celebrate a birthday in it. Diesel-hydraulic narrow-gauge engine Mk45 2003 of MÁV's Childrens Railway in Budapest, photographed at Széchenyi-hegy terminal. This railway is 12 kms long and runs in the mountains of Buda, above the city. It has a tunnel and viaduct and is operated mostly by children. Pioneers worked the trains previously (except for driving the engine) who still regularly meet every year. A nice round-trip can be made using the Cog Railway and tram 56 from the city. The engine was built by 23rd August Locomotive Works of Bucharest, Romania in 1973. Output is 331 kW and maximum speed 40 km/h, although trains are restricted to much slower speeds.
