MAV DMU Bzmot 306 as a local train from Eger to Szilvasvarad behind the castle of Eger
The city of Eger lies in a quite narrow, totally built-in valley where building a railway line was not easy. The railway line Eger - Szilvasvarad was built in 1871. At those time, medieval castles were used only as quarries so demolishing a big part of it was not so strange as nowadays. The trains of line 87 is divided to 2 sections: On Bzmot with cars runs from Eger to Szilvásvárad, and one single Bzmot (on my photo this is the Bzmot-306 unit) runs from Szilvásvárad to Putnok, because of the less number of passengers.

Csorna: Bzmot 305 is waiting for its passengers. Few hours later this Bzmot was the last train between Papa-Csorna, since the Hungarian government has decided on closing 14 side-lines from 4th March.

Szany-Rabaszentandras: Bzmot 305 on Line Nr.14 (Csorna-Papa) and some of its passengers meets Bzmot 193(Papa-Csorna). This picture can't be repeated any longer, since the Hungarian government has decided on closing 14 side-lines from 4th March.

This picture can't be repeated any longer, since the Hungarian government has decided on closing 14 side-lines from 4th March.You can see a wreath too on the middle of the DMU and the writing on the banner says " We've done it", a very sad adage of the Hungarian government.
