M62 210 of Hungarian Railways (MÁV) heading the afternoon express train from Budapest to Szombathely (west-Hungary) via Veszprém. The picture was taken shortly before entering the station Ajka, in April 1999. Few months later the masts for the electric cantenary were erected here and the diesels disappeared.
M62 210 der Ungarischen Staatsbahnen AG führt den Nachmittagsschnellzug von Budapest nach Szombathely (Westungarn) über Veszprém. Das Foto wurde kurz vor der Einfahrt in Bahnhof Ajka geschossen, in April 1999. Einige Monate spaeter standen hier bereits die Oberleitungsmasten und heute sind die Diesels verschwunden. M62 210 a délutáni Budapest-Szombathely gyorsvonattal. A kép Ajka bejáratánál készült, 1999 áprilisában. Néhány hónappal késobb már álltak a felsovezeték oszlopai. Nyírmadai koromvonat halad Mándok és Tornyospálca között 2009.08.28-án. Háttérben a tornyospálcai átrakóig vezető széles vágány látható.
Local freight train is approaching to Tornyospálca. In the backgruond you can see an 1536 mm track which goes to Tornyospálca.

M62,208 with a fast train heading to Szombathely in August 1999. Photo taken in the mountainland of Bakony, near Ajka, on the Budapest-Szombathely line. This line is now under electrification so this is one of the last occassions to find M62s here.

Russian-built heavy freight loco in passenger

passenger service they usually pull an electric heating car.

V43 1005 and M62 215 are waiting for their trains at station Boba. Before the 2007 electrification of the Boba - Zalaegerszeg - Hodos line engines should have been changed at Boba. M62 215 is waiting for a freight train hauled by a V63 engine from Székesfehérvár while V43 1005 (nickname Ezeröcsi) is waiting for IC Drava from Venezia.
