Second funicular in Zagreb. Ksaver is a fairly new residental area constructed on inclined ground.
Funicular was constructed in same time in mid 70's, and has been out of function from the beginning.

The funicular of Zagreb was first opened in 1889, built by a
subsidiary of Ganz (Budapest). In 1934 the tramway company
took over the operation and replaced the steam engine by an
electric drive. In 1934 it was completely rebuilt with new
cars and new stations (mostly in the old shape). The line is
66 m long with a height difference of 30.5 m, the maximum
incline is 52 %. 2003-01-01.
