The Network Rail Water Cannon Train is now a common sight and seems to have replaced the use of sandite when
tackling the affects of leaf fall. This is how it is made up this particular example being top-n-tailed by EWS class 66s. The
place is Stratford E.London and the date 4th October 2006.

Looking North along the Great Western Main Line from the New Road bridge between West Huntspill and East Huntspill - the first bridge south of Highbridge & Burnham station. This snowplough is seen at Hither Green S.London in Autumn 2002. In the past the SE, particularly Kent, have experienced
heavy snowfalls but can we now expect more of this kind of weather? Withdrawn class 73s 101 in Pullman livery and 129 in
Network South East can just be seen parked behind.

This has to be one of the strangest looking vehicles we ever seen on rails. It
no doubt performs a vital engineering function.. quite what we are not sure
but probably connected with ballast laying. Captured on camera in the Spring of 2001.
