0-4-0ST number 51218 was built in 1901 by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway as part of their 21 Class, better known as "Pugs". It became LMS 11218 in 1923 and BR 51218 in 1948. It is seen at the Newton Heath depot open day in 2001.

A British Railway's steam locomotive 0-8-0 Class G2 Super D No.49395 is seen inside the engine shed depot at Grosmont which is based on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. This steam engine is on loan from the National Railway Museum which is in York. Sunday the 5th of October 2008
