A view of Stratford station from the inside looking towards Stratford Lower level
where trains run between Woolwich and Richmond using the North London Line.
A Silverlink class 313 and on the right a Jubilee Line Tube train can just
be seen...if you look closely! Pictured February 2005.

The passenger alighting at Wanstead Park station in east London is confronted with a bewildering array of signs, which seem to suggest that use of the exit is strictly forbidden. The safest option, it appears, would be to follow the advice of the notice at the bottom left, and not alight here in the first place! Just visible above the "Way Out" sign is the roof of Class 117 DMU number L702, arriving with the service for Barking. Replacement of these units with cascaded "Sprinters" from Central Trains is now underway, and probably complete by now.

Now we have sent many pictures into the 'Gallery' of trains at Stratford Station
but this is the first one showing the view of the station from outside.
Londond Underground's Central Line runs alongside the main line 'ONE' services at the
main station. To the left or south end the Docklands Light Railway terminates whilst
behind the Red LT Bus Roundel in the picture is Stratford Low Level from which
North London Line overground services operate. Alongside this is the end of the new
Jubilee Line extension.
What cannot be seen in this picture however is what is going on behind...partly on the
site of the old depot...the construction of Stratford International. In a year or so
Eurostar services will run into London's St.Pancras Station and trains will stop and
possibly start from here as well.
There cannot be many...if any...stations in Britain that have this variety of trains
arriving which will soon be on the International map when the Eurostars finally start.
