The trainshed has just been restored, after some 2 years of extensive works. This has made London-Waterloo one of the brightest and most pleasant London terminal stations.

One can see a Class 450 Desiro of South West Trains, about to depart.

Looking southbound from the Charing Cross end of platform C at London Waterloo East station. The three line gold-on-black LED next train information screens are visible above the platforms here. Originally introduced by Great Western this very useful innovation is becomming increasingly common accross the network.
