Bishops Lydeard station on the West Somerset Railway, looking south from the pedestrian level crossing a the north end of the station during the Spring Steam Gala. Just viisble in the distance is BR Standard Class 4 2-6-0 No. 76009 which will lead SR Bulleid ‘Battle of Britain’ 4-6-2 No 34067 Tangmere to double-head the last leg of the charter service from London Paddington to Minehead.

Minehead station, seen here looking from the eastern end of the platform, is the western terminus of the West Somerset Railway. BR Class 4MT 2-6-4 no 80136 is at platform 2 on the left, while the Class 117 DMU is just visible at platform 1. In the sidings to the right of the station is 14 St John, a Hunslet Engine Co. 0-6-0ST owned by the Severn Valley Railway that travels the country playing the part of Thomas at the popular Thomas and Friends events at many heritage railways.

A Stothert & Pitt Steam Crane; LSWR 12 ton ventilated van no. 640869 painted blue to adverise the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway (SDJR) Museum and the former signal box from Burnham On Sea the SDJR station. As the station and railway are no longer in existence, the box is now located in the yard of Washford station on the West Somerset Railway. Washford station is rented from the WSR by the SDJR Trust.
