Tanfield Railway, Marley Hill Loco shed. August 1996. No.17 (Andrew Barclay 1338, built 1913) is being restored in the area behind the running shed. It
was formerly with the National Coal Board's Waterside system.

Tanfield Railway, Marley Hill Loco shed. August 1996. No.1 (Stephenson & Hawthorn 7901, built 1958), a "Husky" class diesel shunter, shunts preserved wagons in the museum yard.

Tanfield Railway, Marley Hill Loco shed. August 1996. Restoration has started on narrow-gauge pacific "M2" from the Tasmanian Government Railways. This
locomotive was built on Tyneside by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn (works No. 7630) in 1951, and is part of the collection of locally-built locomotives at the museum.

"WELLINGTON" was built 1n 1873 by Black, Hawthorn & Co (works number 266) and worked for over 100 years.
It is seen at Marley Hill loco shed on the Tanfield Railway in 1996.
