At the Nene Valley Railway Danish Loco Nr740 (Frichs 86, built 1928) was repainted as a ficticious German loco and renumbered 62015 for a movie role.

Nene Valley Railway "Austerity" saddletank (Hunslet 2855, built 1943) at Peterbrough NVR station, May 1998.
The loco was new as WD 75006, and was used at opencast coal sites throughout its working life.

Nene Valley Railway Wansford loco shed, 1st May 1988. Ex- British Railways D9516, with another of the class behind. This loco served British Railways for just four years before sale to British Steel's Corby ironstone quarries.

On March 18th 2006 the Nene Valley had a spot of fun with its trains and as a result this diesel hydraulic class 14
also known as a 'Teddy Bear' carries an appropriate headboard. We think they acquired this name because
of a the appearence of the loco's front windows.

D9516 later became known not only as a class 14, but like other members of this diesel hydraulic class aquired the nickname 'Teddybear'

Now this is unusual a Polish, we think, steam loco in Britian. It was pictured on the Nene Valley Railway near Peterborough which is one of few preserved railways having a loading gauge that allows Continental rolling stock to be used on it. Date January 2002.
