Great Central Railway, Leicester North station, 13th september 1998.
The GCR has no connection to the mainline, but ends at a newly built
station in the outskirts of Leicester. Two Mark 1 cars serve as
ticket office and bar.

Horse drawn waggons in the old LMS style, technically this is a railway photograph - its just that the traction is a horse and not mechanical. Picture taken July 2001.

Old German tram seen at the Great Central Railway, it looks very similar
to the type operated in Berlin, though identification is difficult.

The trailer is the last of its kind, a two axle leightweight trailer which was also used in Essen, Neuss, Duisburg and Köln. |
From memory a poster inside stated that this Gresley coach was the last of its type
to remain in service...possibly until the mid 1970's..and was also painted into Blue Grey.

E6003 was actually running in this original green livery when withdrawn from service.
