The crossing has been closed for safety reasons as BR Standard Class 9F 2-10-0 No 92203 Black Prince will shortly be arriving into platform 2 with a southbound service from Minehead.

The cab of BR Standard Class 4 2-6-0 No. 76009 at Bishops Lydeard station on the West Somerset Railway for the Spring Steam Gala. This locomotive is more usually numbered 76079 and if you look closely at the cab-side number you can see that the second 0 is on a patch. I'm guessing that the change of number is related to the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway theme of the event, but I don't know.
