The cupola over the ticket office at Morden station, the most southerly station on the London Underground network. I expect that in bright daylight the effect on the ticket office is quite striking - however when I visited it was pouring with rain!

A notice to drivers of 1995 tube stock, the only stock currently used in passenger service on the Northern Line, at the southern end of platforms 4/5 at Morden station. Morden station is the southern terminus of the line so only Morden depot is the only thing beyond this end of the platforms.

The Northern Line tunnel mouths immediately north of Morden tube station. This is the only place in south London where the Northern Line does not run in tunnels, indeed the route from here to High Barnet via Bank inlcudes the longest tunnel on the entire London Underground network - 17.3 miles (28.3km) to East Finchley station. This photgraph was taken in the pouring rain from the northern end of platform 4.
