This 3+2 accommodation is very close to that of Class 319 and 321 EMUs, which were built at the same time. This fleet primarily runs on London Bridge<->London Victoria "Metro" shuttles (Via Sydenham or Peckham Rye) and is due for refurbishment. London Bridge. 21st May 2005.

I think these ugly units are my favourites, the only two car DC EMU's (I think) and were built to provide peak capacity on short platforms on the South Central. This unit is seen approaching Clapham Junction.

Class 456 010 EMU passig through the station at Wandsworth Road looking north towards Battersea Power Station.. This is an excellent location though can be a little limited after a while. Plenty of freight and EMU's pass through the station.

EMU 456-016 (750V DC third rail) in Network South East livery has just
arrived at London Bridge from East Croydon on 28 May 1996.

This rather unusual looking two car 456 unit runs between Victoria and London Bridge...where this
one is seen on April 23rd 2005...or are tagged onto other units to increase capacity. This we think is the
only example to be put into Connex livery.
