This car has a Standard-class saloon (48 seats), a small office for the guard and a shop where Standard-class passengers can treat themselves. Shop counter (staffed with one attendant). This car has a Standard-class saloon (48 seats, in the background), a small office for the guard (in the middle) and a shop where Standard-class passengers can treat themselves. The food section stands on the left. Passengers just choose what they want and pay at the counter. Overall, junk food prevails. Real food is for First-class passengers only, who have an at-seat service, included in the fare and provided from a large galley located in the Cab/First-class car. 13th December 2003. Airline-style seats. There is no armrest near the window but a long, not very convenient side rail, instead... Correct amount of legroom, and a modern, bright atmosphere. But seats are hard and very upright, especially down the back.
