An unidentified Eurostar trainset is passing Saint Denis.
Although the trains here have just been departed from Gare du Nord as they cross this station, they already have quite a high speed. This train is probably heading for London.

The high speed train "EuroStar" on the route London St. Pancras International - Paris-Gare-du-Nord reached
ist final destination. It travelled without stop and reached Paris after 2 h 22 min only!
Could you do that by plane? Never!

At this stage, this trainset is speeding up from 160km/h-100mph to 200km/h-125mph, until the point where the chord of Fréthun-East (for Paris/Lille <---> Calais/Boulogne TGV/TERGV services) branches off the HSL. Beyond that point, higher speeds are applicable. Peuplingues. 21st May 2006. fo

The Eurostar in Paris (Gare du Nord). It is impossible to touch the train. Only passengers have access to the train after a thorough check of body and luggage. It is only possible see the train through a wall of glass.
