Privately owned 73136 returned to the main line scene last Autumn but has recently been out of traffic. Making a welcomed
appearence and looking very smart in its earlier BR blue Heritage livery it is seen at London Victoria just before departing with a charter on
the 10th August 2006.

73 108 & 73 134 head the 14:23 Manchester Picadilly - Portsmouth Harbour through Moreton Cutting east of Didcot on 21/08/82. This was an exceptionally rare working as the 73's had worked all the way from Birmingham having reached there earlier in the day on the previous leg of the diagram. As far as I'm aware 73's on a regular passenger working out of Birmingham has only occurred 4 - 6 times since the class was introduced in the 1960's

This very unusual convoy of class 73s was to give the newly returned 73136 a test run. The loco
now in an attractive early livery for the class will we believe be used on the VSOE. The place is
Mortlake and the date October 26th 2005.
