Class 158 (158 839) of Arriva Trains Wales (ex-Wales & Borders) seen upon turnaround at London-Waterloo.
Although ATW is the regional operator for Wales, it operates a few services as far as London. This unit is diagrammed on a service between London-Waterloo and Manchester-Piccadilly, via Basingstoke, Bath Spa, Bristol Temple Meads and Shrewsbury. Not really as the crow flies, though... These units also run on a night service between London-Waterloo and Fishguard Harbour (for Rosslare, Ireland). 10th December 2003. P.L.Guillemin (plguillemin@yahoo.fr) |

I have been trying to get a photograph of these units for ages, during 2003/04 a batch of these units were liveried in 'Ginsters' livery. Ginster is a sandwhich making company, also during this phase other advertising liveries were treid. Seen at Cardiff Central 06 March 2005.
