30 June 2001, York, England, UK The National Railway Museum in York features a viewing gallery onto the northern part of York Railway Station and the approach lines. The photo was taken from this elevated platform. The platform is situated further to the rear compared to some other parts of the museum building, so the brick wall to the left obstructs a better and wider view of the incoming trains. GNER HST leaving York station.
