An unidentified Class 43 leads an unidentified passenger working into
Bristol Temple Meads station. The Blue & Yellow livery carried by the
power cars was the original HST livery that these vehicles were delivered
new in, also at the time this photo was taken these entire trainsets
were referred to as either Class 253 or 254.

This may have actually been a service train...only it also included Test Car No 5. Now how often do you see an HST
with a working pantograh? Note also that the power car's number was carried somewhat boldly on the front at this time. The train is seen here
arriving at Leeds in 1989 we think.
