Class 67 and Class 66 seen on the taxi run from Doncaster Sidings to the station, this is a fairly regular working, just to pick up the driver(s) signing on at the station - I suppose it saves on the taxi fare!

There is a possibility of mail returning to rail but only using the 325 EMUs so this scene
taken at Didcot in 2001 of 67018 on a parcels is not likely to be repeated after the contract
with EWS came to an end in March 2004.

Well this is the first time I have pictured a class 67 coming off the bend like this and although the class are now quite regularly seen
on freight duties they always make a welcome change from the more usual class 66. 67018 brings its intermodal through
Stratford on February 13th 2007.

67011 speeds through Didcot with mail vans in the Summer of 2001. Sadly this is all going to come to
an end shortly when the Royal Mail stops using the the railways to transport post. Crazy...just what we
need more vans and lorries on the roads and busier airports! Of course they could use boats...there is plenty
of sea around our isles!!!!!

Class 66 and 67 diesel locos 66200 and 67019, both in EWS livery, stand next to each other at the Rail200 Railfest at the National Railway Museum, York. Although there were steps alongside each one the cabs (unusually for this event) were not open when I saw them (15:40 01/06/2004).
