On Mon 28th May 2007, Pathfinder Tours ran the 'Retro Retracer' railtour from Bristol to Leeds & return featuring classes of locomotives that played an important role in the development of freight by rail during the days of British Rail. For the 1Z60 07:52 Birmingam New Street - Worksop South Sidings leg of the tour, EWS supplied Class 60 - 60024, which is pictured at Derby at 08:50.

Class 60 in EWS colours seen at Nottingham during a Saturday visit in September 1999. The class had brought a train of oil tanks in from the west, was running round the train to take the train out again. More than likely it was running through to Toton.
