ad-60015-hst-jp.jpg (112461 bytes)

Class 60s have become increasingly difficult to see down here in the S.E. and the last thing you want is a fast approaching HST when one...in this case 60015... puts in an appearence at Harpenden as it did on the 23rd March 2005.

The HST was always going to beat the 'Tug' as class 60s are known as, but you can see just how close we came to being completely 'bowled out' by the fast approaching Midland Mainline train as it sped through Harpenden on the 23rd March 2005.

60011 prepares for a signal check as it goes through Cardiff Central on the 14th February 2004. This is one of only 3 class 60s that were put into Mainline Blue and its good to see that it is still running in this livery.

The only picture we have taken at Stratford at this spot is this Mainline Blue class 60 011 on the Camos...now Bardon Aggregates...in July 2000. Relatively little traffic takes this route.
