47757 pilots failed 87012 at Oxenholme whilst working the 08:35 London Euston to Glasgow Central. The 87 failed at Wigan North Western. The train is seen running about 3 hours late, in August 1998.

Well what a surprise...this loco seems to follow us around...47749 'Atlantic College'
quietly waits at the stops at Kings Cross having brought in the coaches for a charter train on the 11th October 2003.

We have lost count of the number of times we have seen this particular loco Res 47 749 'Atlantic College'. It was active again today on the Nuneaton drags, Saturday 12th July 2003 and nearing the end of its part on this train as an electric will take over for the remainder of the journey from Wolverhampton to London.

Up until March 2004 this was a regular sight class 47s top-n-tailing Serco Test trains.
This pair were seen at Pudding Mill Lane Bow E.London in the Summer of 2002 with a rather faded looking
47759 leading the way on its journey into East Anglia.

47759 brings its Serco Test Train through Stratford E.London in the Summer of 2002.

With 47759 now taking things easy on the back of the train as it sets off in the direction of the N.London Line
although it may have been returning to the depot at Temple Mills. The leading 47 can just be seen.
Its the Summer of 2002 at Stratford.

Kings Cross line-up Saturday 11th October 2003. WAGN class 317 EMU...Res 47749 'Atlantic College'... and Fragonsets 31452 'Minotaur'
Class 31s have a long association with Kings Cross operating local services and a number of longer runs in the late 50s and 60s particularly.
The class 47 also has hauled many trains out of 'The Cross'...today its there having brought in the coaching stock for a charter.
