47530 in Network SouthEast livery entering London Paddington. The locomotive-hauled trains were replaced by the Class 166 units in 1992.

EWS Class 47/4. 47547, which is pictured carrying a rather faded NSE (Network South East) livery, looks a rather sorry sight as it stands out-of-use in the scrap line at Crewe Diesel Depot on Sun 13th June 1999.

47 573 passes the White Horse at Westbury with the 16:08 Bristol - Weymouth, 6/8/88. The train consists of 2 sets of DMU's, presumably the result of failure, or rolling stock shortage
