45 137 has the Master Cutler headboard removed at St Pancras on 01/10/82 after having worked the very last locomotive hauled Master Cutler service from Sheffield. The return named train in the evening did not carry the headboard so this was the last time it was used. The Master Cutler became an HST working the following Monday 04/10/82

On the left, 45 132 with the 08:00 St Pancras - Nottingham. On the right, 45 112 with the 07:58 Leeds - St Pancras at Nottingham, 5/4/82. It was unusual to have 2 Peaks adjacent in these 2 platforms, as the St Pancras - Nottingham terminating services usually used the platform out of shot, to the left.

45 141 and 45 106 accelerate away from Loughborough with the 07:10 Derby - St Pancras, 24/4/82. It was a really difficult morning for photography, mainly dull and gloomy, with only a brief glimpse of sun now and again. Even though this shot is not too good, it is made available here, as double headed Peaks were never common.
