Some locos seem to follow you around, whilst others you may just see breifly or never should they choose to migrate to some far off part of the land and stay there! We always like to see a class 37, and this example 37109 we had seen and photographed only the previous Saturday. This time it was about to leave London's Victoria Station having brought the Pullman VSOE coaches in for the evenings run. The date is the 4th July 2003.

serco-37114-a-ching-jp.jpg (139521 bytes)

Whats this...a pair of 'Growlers' at Chingford! Earlier this year we pictured two class 47s also on a Serco Test Train here, so with loco appearences very rare at this location we were pleased to know in advance that this was going to happen again. Waiting for the 'off' on their return to Derby are 37114 on the front and Load Haul 37698 on the back. The date is August 25th 2004.

serco-37114-b-ching-jp.jpg (128870 bytes)

Clagging away nicely to itself is 37114 'City of Worcester' at Chingford. This loco is one of the earlier members of the class having 'split headcode boxes' and effectively is in as good as original condition. The date is August 25th 2004.

An old survivor...and it shows! Dating from quite possibly 1960 37114 'City of Worcester' is seen here still running at Chingford in the Summer of 2004.
