37065 with an unusual nose end for the time - this loco was built with split headcode boxes but was rebuilt like this after an accident. The lever below the cab with the chain connected to the brake cylinder under the cab steps is the parking brake - you can tell that it's off as the chain is slack. Margam, 1985. The Drivers desk of a class 37 - probably 37065 On the left hand side are the brake controls - train brake is the lower one with the valve below the desk and the loco straight air brake the shorter handle above. Nearer the camera are the direction selector and power controller. Colin Baker (lokfuehrer@ntlworld.com)
