This somewhat unusual sighting consists of FMR's 33103 on the front, followed by
a green Observation Car, a Network Rail coach, then two class 73s still carrying
Railtrack colours and finaly 47709 on the rear. The two 73s had been visiting Hornsey Depot
and were being taken to Clapham Junction. The place is Crouch Hill
and the date February 22nd 2005.

This particular loco 33103 seen here at Crouch Hill on the 22nd February 2005 was the one
used for a few days in 1999 to run push-pull services on this Barking to Gospel Oak Line.
We should know because we took one of the last runs it made!

A pair of Fragonset class 33s...103 followed by 202...bring an ECS or Empty Coaching Stock move
through Barnes in the late afternoon of the 19th November 2004. A nice touch is the number '33' on the
front of the loco not to mention the clag which always adds someting to the picture...and of course it helps
being old locos with character.

The model railway exhibition nearby had not been one of the best so we left a little early...to be greeted outside by two
class 33s 33116 and 33051 on a railtour! Looking superb in recently applied Rail Blue this chance encounter was one of the very few
occasions that we saw this class in action. Its Bristol Temple Meads and it was Spring 1998.
