Class 28 locomotive number D5705 is preserved at the East Lancashire Railway. The Class 28s were notoriously unreliable in service, and the last ones were withdrawn in 1968. Note the unusual Co-Bo wheel arrangement. Photo by David Root <u95dr1@ecs.ox.ac.uk>
