Comédie Tunnel, seen at its Northern Portal, on Allée de la Citadelle. This tunnel runs alongside the Montpelliers-Nimes railway line (left) for some 100m. This is the only underground segment on Line A. The opposite portal is on Place de la Comédie.

Both the railway and tram lines are seen looking towards Central Montpelliers and the Railway station.

An urban expressway used to emerge out of this portal. As in other locations, this tram project has led to reclaim room previously pre-empted by wildcat road traffic...
