One can already spot those DB side-signs (blue-white), which warn against the voltage change-over (25kV 50Hz AC---> 15kV 16 2/3 Hz AC). Apach [Apach Frontière]. 25th May 2006.

At this stage, the line still runs in France, but side-signs are unambiguous about the border nearby:
