26 July 1997, La Mure d'Isère station, France. A five car tourist consist ready for the descent towards Saint Georges de Commiers. The green passenger car, M19, was the only of that colour. The second (By301) and fourth cars were breaks. The last car had the name of the line, "Chemin de Fer de la Mure" over the windows. Photo by: ©Rafael Bonet (RBonet@acm.org) |

26 July 1997, Chemin de Fer de La Mure, France. A beatiful alpine landscape as the background for two cars. In a former post I named this photo as "two unidentified cars". Later on I received a message from Pascal Bourrel identifying them as: 1) The van is a former luggage van of the Standard-SNCF 2-axle type. 2) The carriage is an ex-Deutsche Reichbahn Gesellschaft, transferred to France after 1945, from the series nicknamed "Bastille".
