SNCF BB 12125. Four-axle AC electric locomotive, one of 48 units built 1954
to 1961, speed 120 km/h, power 2470 kW, length 15.2 m. Originally used on
the line Valenciennes - Thionville, these locomotives could soon be found
on the entire French AC system. The last went out of service in 2000. This
is one of ten preserved units. It went 4193917 km in active service.

SNCF 12125 was one of the first classes of AC/DC locos in France and stands at the Cite du Train in Mulhouse -in the region, where the "flat-irons" pulled many freight trains.
