Bascule bridge of La Bordigue (Southeast End), on the Septimanian Mainline (Tarascon-Narbonne), standing just West of Sète station (located further right, off-pic). This is one the very few railway moveable bridges in France, built above a canal which connects the Spring of Thau with the Mediterranean. Since the automation of this bridge (1990/1991), the overhead control cab has not normally been staffed. If the worst comes to the worst, 7 people suffice to move the bridge down by hand.
